Jesus said in Luke 9:23, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and folllow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it." God does not require the same sacrifices of every one of His children but we are all called to make choices in following Christ. May God grant to each of us the courage and strength to faithfully follow Him. This is a song of dedication. We use it at our church a lot when we celebrate the Lord's supper.
